Fairfax, VA, 13 September, 2023 – Janet Chihocky, founder and CEO of JANSON, has named Michele Hoopes as executive vice president and general manager of the company. This new position was created to support JANSON as it builds on 25 years of continued growth in three interlocking sectors: strategic communications, technology, and workplace transformation.
Hoopes has more than 30 years of experience. She has been involved in Information Technology throughout her career, and back in 1996-1997, led the project for IT infrastructure implementation for US Airways at Ronald Reagan Airport. Her expertise includes program management, organizational change management, risk management, process transformation and quality management, and business development in both federal and commercial markets. Prior to JANSON, Hoopes was the Chief Operating Officer at Nationwide IT Services.
Hoopes was attracted to JANSON for the opportunity to join an agile and responsive organization with tremendous growth potential. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Manager of Quality/
Organizational Excellence (ASQ-CMQ/OE), and has held executive positions in organizations with up to $220 million in annual revenue and up to 1,700 employees. She holds a B.S. in management information systems and decision sciences from George Mason University.
