Edward Loomis is one of many communications planners at JANSON. He was a public affairs adviser who successfully communicated on behalf of large organizations about highly complex and technical subjects to U.S. and international audiences for over two decades. Ed served as senior spokesman for the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division and Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division, as well as Director of Communications and Education for the Internal Revenue Service’s criminal investigators. He supported the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization as a strategic communications consultant.
Ed earned a Master of Arts in Journalism degree from Marshall University. His leadership and management education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy and Master of Strategic Studies degree from the U.S. Army War College. He graduated from the Defense Information School’s Public Affairs Officer Course with honors.
