Janet Chihocky Honored at 22nd Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Recognized for visionary leadership and mission-driven growth that has propelled JANSON’s global expansion and transformed the future of defense modernization.

FAIRFAX, Va., November 13, 2025Janet Chihocky, Founder and CEO of JANSON, has been recognized with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Female Executive of the Year – Business Services category at the 22nd Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The ceremony, held on November 10 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, celebrated outstanding women leaders representing more than 48 countries and over 1,500 nominations worldwide.

Chihocky was selected for her leadership in guiding JANSON through its most ambitious period of growth. Under her direction, the company has evolved from a small communications firm into a trusted modernization partner for military, federal, and commercial clients worldwide. Through its JANSON30 initiative, the company achieved 40 percent revenue growth this past year, exceeding projections by 25 percent. JANSON also expanded its global reach with new fabrication facilities in Atlanta and a growing portfolio of work across Europe.

“Janet has built more than a successful company. She has built a culture rooted in service excellence, mission readiness, and results driven solutions,” said Rich Price, Executive Vice President at JANSON. “Her vision positions JANSON as a leader in defense modernization of their building, workspaces and dining facilities and she continues to inspire everyone around her to approach their work with purpose and passion.”

Chihocky’s approach to leadership extends far beyond business growth. She personally leads community initiatives such as Operation Hurricane Relief, which mobilized her team to deliver $15,000 in supplies to storm survivors within 48 hours, an effort later featured on ABC7 News. During a recent trip to U.S. military bases in Europe, she also donated $30,000 to USO centers supporting wounded and recovering service members along with a $25,000 donation to the Willing Warriors organization in Haymarket Virginia.

“I am deeply honored by this recognition,” said Janet Chihocky, CEO of JANSON. “This award reflects the incredible team that stands with me. Every success we share, every client we serve, and every project we complete represents more than results. It’s about honoring the people we work with and the missions we believe in.”
