Executive Creative Director
Scot joined JANSON Communications as Executive Creative Director. He’s extremely excited to help JANSON’s clients ignite their branding and awareness initiatives across the media landscape. Scot holds a BA from Art Center College of Design, and multiple certifications from Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, and Avid. He’s held leadership positions at GDA, Zoo Digital, B1 Games and Deluxe Entertainment.
On any given day, Scot can be found producing, directing, and managing a wide variety of interactive projects. From consulting with Apple on the next generation iTunes interface, producing a virtual reality experience for Boeing, or directing a campaign of broadcast commercials for Dell, Scot’s twenty years of work product has garnered billions of YouTube views and tens of millions of likes across the social networks.
Scot began his career directing games and interactive experiences for the five major Hollywood studios. Working with some of the top industry franchises, including Harry Potter, Despicable Me, Iron Man, The Simpsons, and World of Warcraft, Scot built a strong reputation of creative thinking matched with solid producing. As social media began to dominate the advertising space, Scot led cutting edge uses of the technology and produced social campaigns for Iron Man 3, Star Wars, Avengers 2, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and MTV.com. Of the twenty apps he produced, three hit #1 in the iTunes store (Jarvis, The Simpsons, Star Wars), and many remain in high use years after release.
