Sims will be essential in further enhancing the JANSON ‘s Buildings and Environments division through operations and growth strategy. Sims recently served as a Special Assistant to the Commanding General for the Army Materiel Command (AMC), where he was responsible for operationalizing the Commanding General’s vision and intent on special projects into a functioning reality.   Prior to AMC, Sims served 25 years on active duty with the U.S. Army. His last Army assignment before retiring was Commander, Army Broadcasting Service (ABS), now a subordinate unit under the Defense Media Agency based out of Fort Meade, Maryland.
