Senior Digital Media Strategist

JANSON has an opening for a full-time Senior Digital Media Strategist to provide support for our US Army client. This position oversees USAASC’s digital media efforts, including the website and social media platforms. This is a hybrid position working on our client site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia 3 days a week and from your home office 2 days a week.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10 years’ experience in digital marketing, including experience developing content and comprehensive campaigns for social media platforms

  • Familiarity with Army content management systems (e.g., CORE) and WordPress are preferred

  • Proficiency in AP Style, and familiarity with writing content for online platforms preferred

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Annual and monthly digital media metrics reporting

  • Drive and leads development, execution, and assessment of digital strategies to facilitate online engagement

  • Develop and implement strategies and tactical campaigns to engage and influence online audiences

  • Build strategic and compelling content strategies across a variety of social and digital platforms

  • Demonstrate professional experience with digital communications/ marketing, and a clear understanding how to apply tools and technology to infuse innovative digital and social strategies into new and existing work

  • Create and curate content to engage online communities

  • Report on web and digital media analytics

  • Monitor and report on digital media and web performance using available analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprinklr) on a weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual basis in a format approved by the Government
